Motherboards for Intel CPUs and RTX 3090:

As you have to use different motherboards for using Intel’s 9th and 10th gen CPUs, and also AMD CPUs, so I have categorized them into two sections.

#1. Asus ROG Maximus XII extreme:

If you have the budget and using the 10th gen. Intel CPUs which you should with RTX 3090, without thinking you should go with Asus ROG Maximus XII Extreme. It is by far the best motherboard (expensive too) I have used and surely liked its awesome features.

It comes with LGA 1200 socket and Z490 chipset. So, definitely a good option for CPUs like10th gen. core i9, i7 CPUs. Moreover, it comes with wifi6 and a beautiful Rog logo.

If you think you can spend $743 on a motherboard (btw you get one under $300 for 3090) then definitely go ahead, it will not let you down.

Pros:

  • Overclocking is just next level.
  • Good for high-end uses.

Cons:

  • Very expensive.

#2. MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon WiFi:
