The price of this Z390  is $566. You can check its price or buy it by clicking the button below.

My opinion:

This motherboard fro MSI is a true flagship and truly justifies its price. It contains lots of awesome features for overclocking, which is really important to get full potential of i9 9900k. But, if you don’t really want to overclock your PC, I recommend going with a cheaper one. Read below to get a cheaper one.

#2. Asus ROG Maximus XI Gene Z390:

With tons of similarities with Z390 Godlike in performance, but way more cheaper than that, this Maximus XI motherboard is also a very good motherboard especially for overclocking.

But, personally I don’t like that there are only 2 RAM slots because, in the upcoming 2-3 years, you need at least 16GB RAM to play games at high fps. So, obvious 2 slots are not enough.

#3. GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS master:

After some average type of products Gigabyte finally comes with a bang with new Z390 chipset motherboards. These motherboards are absolutely fantastic but if you are confused to choose one between them, you can follow my list like I have listed the master one in the 3rd place and others below.

And, this motherboard doesn’t support some CPU coolers. Make sure to confirm it before buying it.

#4. Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E:

Asus ROG Strix is purely a flagship motherboard for high-end processors, GPUs. Although it had tons of similarities with MAXIMUS XI, but there are some reasons due to which I am not putting it in my top 3.

Best motherboards for i9-9900k

It is also specially designed for Intel core 8th, 9th gen. (but supports below also) CPUs and awesome cooling and overclocking system. For wireless connectivity, it has onboard 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

Have you ever thought, high-end PC parts can be run in both pricy and budget motherboards, then why you have to buy an expensive one? Here is the answer:

There is no doubt that a budget motherboard can handle i9 but the real problem starts when you started overclocking it. Because it is very different to handle the heat radiation and the high voltage of core i9 for those budget/average motherboards.

  • Awesome for overclocking.
  • RGB lighting becomes super duper easy with ASUS AURA Sync RGB lighting.

  • Price is a little bit higher than its features.

My opinion:

It is a true flagship especially for overclocking. But, the thing you are missing some good features which a motherboard in this price range should have.

If you don’t care about those features, go ahead it is a great one for performance.

In case you don’t like overclocking your PC that much with i9, then there is no meaning of buying it. So, make sure to check other motherboards too for a good motherboard for i9 and get good performance without overclocking.

Have you noticed the awesome look of this motherboard, if you don’t you should definitely watch it before going further? Personally, I think the design of it really interesting.

Best motherboards for i9-9900k

This motherboard from Asrock is far better than Z390 Taichi and it is a good fit for Intels best process (till now) i.e. i9 9900k. Most surprisingly, this motherboard can give up to 10 GB+ Ethernet connectivity and 1.73 GB/s wifi. And don’t worry, it supports Intel’s 9th gen. Processors.

Talking about the RGB, it has a beautiful custom Polychrome RGB lighting and also supports addressable RGB headers. The only reason I am putting it here on my list because of its overclocking capacity, which is not very good as compared to other modern gaming motherboards. So if you want to overclock your PC at an extreme level and get the full potential of PC parts, then choose the top 3 I have mentioned.
